Aileen is an experienced atist/tutor in a number of mediums and subject matter. She loves to paint floral, landscape but her main love is portraiture. A number of VIP have been among her portrait subjects and she has been the recipient of an International award for Portraits on Porcelain.Aileen has made guest appearances on some TV shows pertaining to her art as well as inclusions in a number of magazines. Her floral paintings were showcased by Queensland Wildflower/Wildlife Society. The "Aileen McLeod Art Award" has become an annual event at a school in Sydney where she taught art/craft.
