Colleen was born and educated in N.S.W..She has studied art for many years and only recently,in Queensland decided to display her art,achieving many successes,with her work exhibited in such venues as parliament house,logan art gallery and possumn art gallery.Most recently she was awarded 1st.prize for contempory art at beaudesert annual show.Colleens inspiration comes from her love of animals,in particular cats,this interest has greatly influenced her creative talent.However her work in landscapes and still life have also been recognised and well received Her art mediums include oils,pastels, acrylics and both pencil and charcoal drawings showing diversity in style and subject matter.Colleens art is created in her own studio set in pleasant surroundings with a northly aspect on the southside of brisbane
