Rita Hall is a practising artist with over 30 years experience. Her first solo exhibition was held in 1969 and she has continued to exhibit her work since. She has combined teaching and lecturing with a successful art career.
Her work is included in the public collections of the Australian National Gallery, the Art Gallery of South Australia, the Art Gallery of Western Australia and the Museum and Art Gallery of Tasmania as well as many regional and corporate collections.
Rita completed a master of Visual Art in 1992 and has been a part time lecturer of the south Australian School of Art, University of South Australia since 1989. Her particular interest is in printmaking and recently she has lectured in life drawing and etching. Her current work involves exploring the combination of collographic printmaking with drawing in charcoal and pastel.
